Late fall fishing is good. Crappie are hitting 1/16 oz. jigs around the shallow brush piles in mid-day. Green and brown are working best. The bigger crappie are being caught on minnows early and late in the day from the shallow drop offs inside the bays. Most are being caught from 10' to 12' of water. Kentucky Lake has a sligh edge for crappie. Bluegill are good at mid-day in both lakes. Crickets and nightcrawlers fished along the deeper shorelines and around the docks are best. Most are being caught under bobbers set at 6'. Sauger and catfish are slow in both lakes. Whitebass are spotty in the backs of the bays. Largemouth are hitting spinnerbaits and jig/pork combinations along the gravel shorelines. Lake Barkley is producing some very nice catches. Fishing will remain good for several weeks.
