Fished the lower Hobble again today. This week I caught more and bigger fish. All Browns. Fished from 950w to the train tracks. Caught all on a silver Blue Fox spinner.

When you say lower... What do you mean? I grew up in Brookside and fished all the way from the mouth down to the west fields.

mostly from 400w to 1500w. Moreless from train track to train track has been where i have been doing most the fishing. I catch a lot of tiny ones but catch some really pretty decent sized ones everytime. I grew up just east of the Jr. High. I have pretty much fished the whole stinkin creek, i need to take go up past the golf course and see what i can find up there..

My cousin and I used to take 2 vehicles up the canyon. Park one at Kelly's Grove and go back down to the pump house towards the end of the golf course and fish up through the golf course.
Unfortunately you can't do that anymore. There were some really nice fish through there.

I used to fish above the golf course. Makes me wonder why I haven't. Was fun and beautiful. Thanks for reminding me.
