Hit the Green this weekend, cold front kind of sucked. Was nice on Friday as the clouds kept the BWO's hatching all day, I fished on top all day and I think I landed 15, Saturday was a lot tougher, same weather, same hatch, would not touch my BWO, caught 4 nymphing...slow day! More cold weather today so we we left the Green to search out the Bows in Sheep Creek, I think I landed 30 in a few hours, I think I had a fish every other cast, feed bag was on! Great trip, bad weather!!

I kept looking in that direction all weekend, figuring you were rippin' some lips on one or both of those waters. Weird that Saturday was tough. Maybe needed a different BWO, cripple, or emerger. Sounds like plenty of fish though.

Awesome. I love the bow with that dark crimson stripe. Very cool. I hit the Green last Sunday and did quite well too. After seeing your photos I kind of wish I went up to Sheep's Creek as well.

Nice fish. Did you float or wade? Wondered what you thought of taking your new 'toon down the Green. I keep trying get lucky where the weather and my schedule coincide -- maybe this weekend.

Didn't float this weekend, camped at Dripping Springs and fished the B section. Looking forward to floating though, maybe a floating/camping trip on the B.

We've floated the B Section twice and stopped to check out some of the camp spots. Very nice right on the river with sandy tent areas, picnic tables, and some with outhouses -- even though you still have to carry a self-contained toilet.

On my bucket list to make a two-day float/camp trip.

Here is a link to a brochure on floating and camping below Little Hole: http://www.blm.gov/pgdata/etc/medialib/b...%20web.pdf

the camp sites on the B section are pretty awesome. I particularly enjoy the one right above grass hopper island where the little creek (if you could call it that) flows in, because the river widens out a bit and we tend to take the boat to the opposite shore and streamer fish the quicker water

That sounds like a great trip, the fish look awesome. I really like the colors on number 6. I hope I can get that way soon! Great post.
