I am taking the family and the Boat to Rockport Friday after work and staying until Sunday. This will be our first time to Rockport and was hoping that some one may have a report on what is going on there right now and maybe a few tips on tactics. I have down riggers for my boat and plan on trolling any suggestions on set ups, speed and depth?

Rainbow rapalas, Gold or Silver Spinners work as well.

I agree with rapalas, have done well with #7 rapala in black and silver trolled at 1.2-1.5 mph. As far as depth it will depend on water temps. Your sonar should be able to give you the depth they are cruising but about 12 feet is a good place to start.
