James and I had a great time. We struggled with size today. We boated about 20 bass but only 6 or 7 would keep and only one of those was good. Caught fish on C-rigs, shakeys, spooks and spinner baits. Like I said thou, most had their tails too close to their eyes. Put our limit in the boat early off a spook. Two keeper spots and one four lb largemouth. James was able to cull the smaller spot with another Largemouth but only about 2 and a quarter. Caught one more keeper spot and another LM or two that would not help. Ended up having to weigh in the bigger spot with our two best LM for something like 8.65 lbs. Not a bad showing but the way folks were catching quality today we must have missed the boat on that one. emoScratch <br /><br />Not a total bust for us. My larger spot took "Big Spot" of the tournament so we got a little back. James and I can take the wives out to McDonalds and even super size our meals. emoTongue Had a great time, wonderful day to be on the water, thanks to all the officers for putting it on.
