IDAHO FALLS – Anglers love to tell fish stories, but this month the Idaho Department of Fish & Game (IDFG) wants to tell its own stories. IDFG will be hosting a monthly series of evening meetings through the summer to help share in-depth information on some of the management programs they run.

According to Regional Fisheries Manager Dan Garren, “These meetings are intended to share research and management activities on important regional waters and highlight our management direction and the challenges we face when trying to provide high-quality recreational experiences for our anglers. “ The first meeting will focus on anadromous fish management in the Upper Salmon River Basin, the season setting process, and a forecast of what to expect for the coming chinook fishery.
