Me and Dave were able to get out one day to practice for CBA on Tuesday evening week of the tournament. We bumped around until we found a couple schools of fish.

We started off fishing one of the spots we found them in practice, and the fish were still there. We started catching immediately, but they seem to of shrunk from practice. We got a limit off that spot by 7:30 that went probably 17 pounds or so. It started to die down so we decided to start bumping around to some different areas.

The next spot we rolled up to was a secondary point, and one bumps Dave's. He sets the hook and it's a good one, after a few runs stripping drag we get the net under her, and get her in. She weighed right at 6 pounds which takes our bag to around 20 pounds, which made us feel much better.

Went to a few more spots, and found a couple more 4 pound class fish to bump us up a little at a time to around 21 pounds, with about an hour to go we pull up to a spot that has been producing for us and one bumps my line i set the hook, and pow my line breaks. I turned around to go retie and a 6 pounder jumps trying to throw my bait out. I was upset. That fish would have put us around 24, but it is fishing.

All in all a great day catching alot of fish. We ended up weighing 21.17 good enough for 16th place and 86 points. I hope the good lord keeps blessing us with decent finishes. I would love to fish Guntersville for the B.A.S.S. team championship. It would have to be an act of God for us to make it, but he can do whatever he wants.

All fish were caught on Worms, Jigs and creature baits in about 9-15 FOW.
