Had an opportunity to get out this morning and catch a few small bluegill to use as bait for bass and cats. I caught about a dozen before I tangled up the ultralight line so badly that I decided to quit and try for bass. I tried a couple of places, catching a number of bass and one catfish, none with much size to them. I think I ended with 4 largemouth, the best of which was about 2-1/2 lbs, 2 spotted bass up to 1-1/2 lbs, and 1 blue cat about 3 pounds. <br /><br />The good news - the trolling motor is now working beautifully at all power settings!<br /><br />The bad news - I cannot find the threadfin shad yet this year. Any help would be appreciated, email or pm me if you have any knowledge and would be willing to share it with me.<br /><br />No pics today, I will be busy for a while with that light line tangle. Hope there is a good movie on the TV............<br /><br />
