Came from Boise to fish SE Idaho for memorial weekend and it was tough fishing Saturday with the storms and rain.
Fished American falls res. Saturday on a local buddies boat from 6-12 trolling 6 rods at multiple depths using trolling gear rigs and rapalas with only one hookup on a nice brown. The river was busy with boats below and heard from f&g that people were not having much success down there either.

We then Bailed to Roberts and fished through the storms at Jim Moore pond for tiger and after shaking off multiple 2 inch perch and changing lures, baits and flies throughout the day, and as night fell, the fish started jumping and we couldn't leave without catching one. We camped till morning and switched to black wooly buggers and that seemed to do the trick. First fish had some awesome markings, possibly from osprey? Caught a few more and released 'em.

We then left for henrys and the water was all whitecaps and lady at the booth said a boat had to be rescued? Towed? Or it was a person being rescued? She heard something over the radio... Bank fished with 1000 other people at henrys outlet without much success on a fly rod. Then tried lures and it didn't help much. Didn't want to give up and put a worm on bottom with everyone else just yet. So we grabbed dinner and hit a fly shop and he directed me towards grayling near cave falls.

We dropped the engine off the boat and dragged the boat to the water and made our way around the lily pads without a fish in sight. Night fell and little something barely hit the waters surface. They didn't seem too eager. Towards the end of the night, I finally saw the school swim by and there seemed to be about 30 fish, assuming grayling, about 6inches and very skiddish. We packed up at dark, went to bed and left in the morning.

Went back to henrys outlet and broke down to bouncing worms and fish on in 5 minutes. Caught multiple cutts and cut bows and was satisfied enough to try our luck elsewhere. Went downstream and again more cutts . It was too easy and not as much fun after a few. Time ran out before we got a chance to hit warm river but we did see Mesa falls and some awesome country on the way home!

Overall tough fishing, but we fished through it and managed 3 new species to add to my list of catching and taking a pic with as many different species as possible, making my total 51 different species!
It's getting harder and harder to accomplish as I'm having to get further and further from home.
Thanks SE Idaho!

Good report for such tough conditions. Love the patterns on the tigers.
