i have no idea what's going on with us lately, after getting skunked at east canyon last weekend. I decided to phone up the old man and uncle to let them know I would be there to pick them up at 430 AM and we were headed out to Hyrum, fished there from about 7-10 Am only caught 1 13' inch BOW, tried a couple different spots, nothing. started the drive back hit up mantua, 6 lines in the water using everything 3 different spots not a single bite, fished there until about 2, decided to try Willard, paid the outrageous 15 dollar entry fee, carp were dancing in the shallows. catfish were jumping right in front of us, not a single bite all night. left there at about 730 PM. no idea why I caught the skunk bug, I really wish I had a boat. I think it
s time for me to hit up Utah lake, never been skunked there.[fishin]

You might as well get a Utah state park pass that's only $75 instead of paying the high prices. Sure did save me money.

I was at east canyon and I've never seen this many boaters plus wave runners on a Sunday at that lake. Not a single bite. Luckily I was only there for 2 hrs before going back to the weber river.

I feel ya was there memorial day not many boaters but the weather was bad had 6 poles out fished for 6 hours and not a bite
