Hit PV at about 6:30. Water temp was 64. Had no love until 0900 and then only in one location. Went home with 4, 13 inch smallies.

How was the power squadron factor on a monday?

On Sunday the dulcet tones of Def Leppard were wafting through the air at full blast from a half mile away, coming from at least 3 different boats. The event that punctuated the end of the day for me was when a wave big enough to pull the water back 3 feet from the shore and then hit the sand with a good loud POP came in from a jet boat full of screaming Mensa members. That was about 1:00 PM, as the water doesn't get warm and sunny until about 11:00.

Good fishing and quiet till about 10:30, then head for the barn. Only problem is the launches work banker hours and don't open till 6 or 6:30. You can finally launch at Deer Creek at 5 AM so you can get a good 5-6 hours fishing till the power squadron takes over. Jordanelle still keeps the gates locked till 6, same with Utah Lake. However, you have options at Lincoln Beach and AF, who are never locked. Wish the State Parks people would get bar codes on your fun tags so you can go in when ever you want and not have to wait for them to wake up in the AM. We can only hope !!
