Anyone have any news to report about Cascade?

Thanks for all the reports guys..... (sarcasm intended). I guess I'll share what I found just in case it will help somebody out.

I fished a good portion of the day both Thursday and Friday of last week. My buddy and I each caught 1 crappie, I caught 1 squaw, and my buddy caught 1 small perch on Thursday. Then we switched it up and focused on bass. We caught several but we had to work for them.

On Friday we found some larger perch (11-15 inches) east of SL out on the flats, we also found several decent sized bass on Friday (16-19 inches). Numbers for both days was low, but on Friday the average size was very good. Bass were caught on cranks and jigs generally on structure (rocks and stuff) or on drop offs. All the perch were caught on a 2" pumpkin jig dragging across the bottom (12-19 FOW) on flats or edges.

I'm committed for 3 days this weekend (Thu-Sat) helping with an eagle scout project, then I have to get my hay in. I hope to get all that done in time for the SMB's to spawn at Cascade. With luck I can get the hay in before the following weekend. If so, I'm in for hitting Cascade again. I expect the spawn to occur on the next full moon. Not sure when that is.......
