It was a wonderful evening out on SH under the full moon light. Got to SH around 7pm, water temps around 70-71 degrees....started off catching a few throwing swimbaits in 20-30ft of water. As the darkness came upon us, we switched over to slow rolling spinnerbaits off the banks and it was game on! The full moon came up and illuminated everything very nicely, so casting was easy. The later into the night we got, the bigger the fish got as well. Several fish in the 4-6lb range, and one big girl that made a few wonderful jumps right at the boat and snapped my spinnerbait in half before she got away...bummer!!! It was the perfect evening...had the whole lake to ourselves...and best part, no "bleeping" joy boaters!!! Smile Night fishing is officially on for the rest of the summer...love it!

Nice! Night fishing can be pretty awesome in the summer.

I had to settle for a little fishing at dusk in Idaho that night, but it paid off pretty well [Smile] They're just moving onto beds up here I think. Caught this one throwing a weightless Grande Bass Rattlesnake to a pile of brush next to a fallen tree.

Its much better at night now..We have been pre fishing for the summer games.

3/8 jigs and Hula grubs have been killer..

We didn't get much love on the spinner baits for some reason..

Thanks for the report
