I am taking my son out on Tuesday and am trying to decide if we should go to UL or DC. He is not very patient so I want to go wherever we will catch the most fish regardless of species. I will have a boat but it is not equipped to troll. I am leaning towards Deer Creek since the action was good there a few weeks ago. Thoughts...

If the little guy just wants to have fun catching fish it would be hard to beat the Provo River white bass right now.

If you are looking for bigger fish, like channel cats, my old fishing grounds at Lincoln Beach would be hard to beat right now. I was out today with gson and we left with arm cramps and no more bait at about 9:30. We caught a lot of fish... biggest three were exactly 26 inches long and around 8 lbs. All were immediately released. We had four fish on at once while fishing with two poles each. Fast and fun. Carp meat and wb.

Weather was perfect today and is supposed to be the same tomorrow.

Good luck which ever direction you go.

My son decided he wanted to go to DC for trout. We had a blast. Caught our limits in about2 hours and headed home. Perfect trip.

Yeah, I know. It felt strange to leave that early but we had our limits and everyone was happy. The good thing is he has been telling everyone how awesome it was and how he kicked my butt by catching 3 bigger than my biggest. Now that is my idea of a good trip.
