Out to UL last night in my boat to try and duplicate sundays success...nada. Sunday, could have filled a cooler they were biting so hot; last night, seems to have shut off a bit. I managed about 8 fish, but had to work for them.
Caught fish on a very small spinnerbait with a white/chartreuse jig body. Seemed a little "off" for others as well, even for the regulars, at least where I was. Maybe it'll pick back up in a day or two. Anybody else have WB success last night?

Weather is always a thing. Quieter and calmer is better...especially after it has been so for at least a day after the last blow.
Two...the spawn might be winding down. It has been delayed and the fish are now in a hurry to get 'er done and get back to non-spawning activities. After the festivities the big gatherings split up into small groups and spread out over the whole lake. We are a third of the way through June. In most years the spawn is over by about the first week of June.

+1 on what Tube Dude said I think it is winding down, The last few times I hit the river there seems to be less fish, there are still allot but nothing like it was a few weeks ago.
Not sure where you are fishing but most the creeks and inlets people are still catching a few.
If your really wanting more I can point you to a few hundred.
just matters how long you want to fish. HA HA.

maybe the weather; many of the fish I caught sunday and last night still had eggs and milt. been fishing inlets...we'll see how it plays out the next few days, might be the low pressure changes.

[#0000FF]I really doubt that it is over already. I also have been catching females with eggs that are far from ready for the downloading. So the spawn will likely stretch out for at least another week or so. But the activity will decline as the majority of the fish complete the spawn.
