i know were the pump house is...so heres my question how do you get behind it to fish do you just park across the street and walk down the road to it ignoring the no tresspassing sign ? ( something which got me a 75.00 ticket a year ago ) and head behind it our is there a trail somewhere i'm missing ?

Hey Chris there's a parking area next to the damn, and a metal bridge sort of thing that there's no signs or anything keeping you from crossing to the other side. I've used it several times and I've seen plenty of others use it. Come to think of it I've never seen any no trespassing signs around there.

There is a parking lot right next to the head gates. Park there and cross the gates. Follow the road towards the pump house, and you will see a trail on your right that will take you where you want to go. If you hit the no trespass sign you have gone a bit to far. When I have been there the trail has been pretty well beaten down. I haven't been there this year but have always done well in years past. If it is slow there try the channel leading to the head gates. Good luck.

I fished there sunday and I always just walk around the sign. have not seen any body hasseled for it. I think it is more to keep people from driveing down in there.fishing was tuff for us no white bass in that day,it is also alot shallower this year only 6' deep.

The people who live by the pumps had a garage sale last summer. I stopped by and dropped some dollars and asked the fellow what the story was with access. He said walking around through the field would be just fine. He just mentioned to stay off the structures. He also said the biggest problem is all the trach that gets left behind, so if you go down there, haul out some extra. Little or no problem with litter this winter, but in the summer it gets really trashy though. So, park by the gates and walk in over the bridge. Kind of a tricky hill there. Or park in the RC parking lot and walk down the road through the field around the fence, and down the ramp. I live in Lehi so PM me and I can show you if the timing works out.
