Decided to go check out the Uintas today.

Within an hour EvilTyeDyeTwin yanked out the 1st and only fish to play in the lake.


We decided to hit the very small stream and dip the fairy wands for lurking trout.


The last stream on the way to the car proved to better.........


Ultimately this was the best catch of the day.........

Stayed around 10,000ft most of the day, it was hard to find any snowbanks actually. We drove around and noted that most of the big peaks were snowless too. Backpacking the Uintas is about an inch away right now.
