Lots of good catfishing in the bird refuge area. Corinne is a little tougher, lots of private land there. If you go to the bird refuge, make sure you bring plenty of deet.

ended up in Corinne. lots of bites on chicken liver and worms. caught 3 no monsters but was still fun. just might give the refuge a try tonight.

Nice, looks like some good eaters. Did you end up fishing above or below the boat ramp in Corinne? The refuge has bigger cats, so it will be interesting to hear how you do down that way.

not sure of the names of places there, So I marked it on the map. At the refuge do I fish in the refuge itself? I believe they close the gate at dark. I've seen places to pull off the road going to the refuge.

There was a good post about fishing in the bird refuge last year, I'll see if I can find it and give you a link to it but yes, you can fish on the river at those pull offs, all the way down to the refuge.
