Could not decide if I was going to fish this one or not. Based on what happened last Friday in the CFF I was thinking I should and try to repeat it again. emoBigSmile Talked with both CCSM and Derek81 to see if they could go but neither could. The evening looked to be nice and the rain had passed so I went any way. I pretty much did the same thing I did last weekend. I targeted bass along the deeper grass edges to start with and about 10:30 went shallow and worked a shakey in the shallow grass around bream beds. Had a limit of small bass before the sun set and set off to cull them all which I ended up doing. emoThumbsup Had a 2/2 and 2 others right at 2/6. It sounded like size was the issue for most folks. It was for me also but I got lucky again and boated a hog to go along with two decent keepers. Culled the three I started with and ended up with a 2/8, 3/1 and an 8/8. On Tim's weigh scales I had 14.09 lbs and my big one took big bass of the tournament at 8.54 lbs. emoToast All three of those were caught on a shakey worm in the grass. I also had a couple more on a spinner bait and lost one good one on it. Not for sure of the weights that took the other two places but second was something like 13.50 lbs and third was 11.87 I think. There was also an 11.70 that was first out of the money.

As usual there was some good fish caught. I just got lucky again and caught that big one. Without it my next best was one of those 2/6s. emoRolleyes Not very many of the boats that were in it came to the weigh in so I think it was tough for most. You guys have fun tomorrow night, I am sitting that one out. emoGeezer Jmax
