I drove by it a week a go. Water is low but still plenty of it.

A friend of mine fished it last weekend. He said the size of the rainbows were 12 - 13 inches. He also said the limit has been raised to 8 because they expect it to be so low this winter most of the fish will die.

Or, rather, with low water conditions the water users have notified the DWR that they plan to drain the reservoir over the course of the summer for irrigation use.
Personally, I think I'd go fish Otter Creek over Piute.
