Launched from shore at 5:30 and fished until noon. The water temp went from 85 degrees to almost 90 (89.2) in that time span. Lots of fish jumping, which I think were either shad or carp. No bites at all and I didn't see many other people taking fish. In fact, there were very few people around anyways.

When I was down there last month I saw how low the water is. How deep is it in mead?

The wash is about 15-30 ft depending on the area. As it gets to the mouth, it gets closer to 60-70ft. Haven't been out towards the body of the lake, but I believe it is as deep as 100-150 ft in some parts. Right outside Boulder Harbor along Saddle Island, it was about 90ft.
