Anyone have a suggestion for where to go for float tube fishing this weekend?

I'm bringing the wife along, so I'm looking for someplace with a good chance of catching fish without getting too complicated. Last time out on Utah lake the bugs were a problem for her. Would also like to avoid the power squadrons as much as possible.

I'm thinking either Strawberry may be decent, but that's old hat and I'd like to try something new.

I'm curious about Currant Creek or maybe Electric Lake, though don't know much about either.

What type of fish are you looking to catch. Are your tubes powered by other means than your feet?

Don't really care about the type of fish.

Locomotion is via flipper express (feet with fins)

I would go high unita lakes water will be nice and chilly. places to camp if that is what you plan to do. Fishing is normally pretty good for trout. Cant beat the scenery. Mosquitoes can be bad at times but OFF seems to work well. Fish wont be giants but are tasty.

Try Smith and Morehouse.

Looks promising. Thanks for the input!

If you want to catch bluegill and bass, Mantua might be worth a try. Heard it has been fishing well with just a worm under a bobber.
