well it looks like I'm leaving Utah and moving to fort collins Co. I've been a electrical mechanical technician in the semiconductor field at faichild semiconductor in
west jordan for the last 35 1\2 years. I was accepted at another semiconductor plant last week and I excepted.

It's been great knowing and fishing with you guys here in Utah, I know I had a great life here for the 38 years I lived here, but I guess I have another chapter to start.

I'll stop in and say hi once in a while. I will still have the rod building board.

til then, see you guys later....

Chuck.

Chuck, hate to see you go. It was a pleasure fishing with you the few times we got out. Also appreciate the kind deeds you did for me over the years. Wish you the best in Colorado.

I've enjoyed your posts and insights. Good luck in colo, I spent 10 summers there and the fishing is good and diverse!

Chuck, enjoy your new world. The Colorado board can use someone like you to give it a jump start. Lots of great fishing there. Good luck with your new job.

I lived in Ft. Collins for 4 years. Greatly enjoyed it. It is an excellent place to reside.

Based on what I believe your fishing preferences are, you will want to acquaint yourself with Horsetooth reservoir above town.

Good Luck chuck, My daughter and son in law live in the Ft Collins Area. If I need a rod, I will look you up!. Best of Luck!

Congrat's and good luck. Fort Collins is a wonderful area, and only half hour (or so) from Estes Park/RMNP!

No sure if fly fishing is in your bag of tricks? If not, you may want to consider adding it. Some great trout rivers within spitting distance of FoCo. [Wink]

Hey, I had never eyed a custom fly rod, until I went to TubeDudes house and you were doing a deomonstration.
You are truly an artist.

Thanks all you guys,
If you guys didn't know, Fairchild semiconductor in west jordan shut down last month and moved their process over seas. we knew it was coming, they announced it to us last September. quite a few people started leaving just after the announcement. there was an incentive if you stayed until the end, most of us maintenance guys stayed to the end to decontaminate and decommission the acid systems.

fly fishing hmmmm, I guess I will have to practice up on my fly casting a little.

Pat, yes we didn't get out nearly enough, thanks for all the jigs and tips you have given me over the years.

Kent, enjoyed fish with you the few times we made it out, hope that reel is still working for you.

Curt, enjoyed the few time we made it out together.

Mark, I will still be building rods just let me know.

I have 2 beautiful bait casting split handle rods 6 1/2 ft. medium power with a fast tip for sale right now. if any one would like them they are available only for the next 4 days, after that they will be packed for the move.

talk to you guys later.

[#0000FF]Hey Chuck, hope you guys find a nice place to move to. Maybe there will be enough ground for Phyllis to grow a "garden"...with some of the newly legal green leafy plants. Might be a good way to supplement the income. Would probably make a bodacious salsa too? Who needs cilantro?

Oh, Man Chuck. Oh I hate the fact that you are moving. I really LOVE the rods you have made for me. Thanks much for them and good luck in your next big adventure.

Hey Chuck, you'll still only be an easy 5 hour drive from Lucerne!

hey Jim I've looked at that and I will be calling on you after I get settled, keep that April Tuesday open, oh, it might a Thursday, I think I will be working the first part of the week, that will be different.

I've had a couple guys interested in these rods I have so I will post a couple of pics of the butt wrap. the one named snake eye has silicon carbide guides, you can run steel line on them, the other has hardloy guides, you can run braid all day everyday.

One less walleye slayer in UT. Heck I haven't put an eye in the boat in four or five years. Seems all I do is catch kokanee. Sorry to see you go, hope you have some great walleye lakes in CO to fish.

Grayrocks and Glendo are not very far from you in fort collins. (Both are Wyoming lakes with lots of walleye).

You'll like that area of CO. Nice town.
