Got done with work this morning early and headed for the lake. Got there at noon, saw drumking coming in and he told me they were done. Got out and tried my luck from noon until five but had to wait the rain out twice for about an hour. So in all I was fishing for about 4 hours. Pretty much repeated what I did the other day. Tried a lot and junk fished my way into a good limit. Really just had a good kicker with not much to go with it. I boated nine bass with six keepers. My best five were 2/2, 2/6, 2/14, 3/5 and the kicker of the day was a beauty at 8 lbs and 10 ozes! emoDance Got to love those Chick hogs. The sixth keeper was only a 13 inch spot. emoRolleyes Still, I will take five at 19/5 any day. They were all over the map today. Never found a pattern. The most shallow bass I caught was on a spook with scattered grass in about five foot with the grass just barely under the surface. The two deepest were the two large ones on a swim bait in about 20 foot on a drop ledge. Also caught a couple on a crank, a jig and a shakey. Like I said, no pattern. emoTongue Water temp was mid 80s. Can't say I learned a dang thing today but the weather was cool compared to lately and had a really good time. Not many boats out, had the lake mostly to myself. emoThumbsup Here is the big girl.

C-ya out there. emoAngler Jmax
