So close! emoBang We almost pulled another one out of the hat. We had 15.23 lbs and Leonard & Ronnie had 15.40 to take us out. That is like two ozes difference. They also had big fish at something like 7.10 and we had one 6.84. emoRolleyes Not a whole lot to tell on this one. We started on shakeys and T-rigs and ended on them. That was the only thing we could get them to bite. Tried several other baits but those two were the only producers. Had a great night, boated a dozen keepers and a couple more shorts. Our best three were 6/13, 5/4 and 3/3. That 6/13 looked like a football, pic below. We also culled a 3/1 and a 2/10. So our best five tonight were pushing 21 lbs. emoThumbsup James put the five lber in the boat so he showed up on this one. emoTongue

We also lost a couple good ones. James broke one off and lost another that felt good. I lost another that did not move on the hook set, got about two turns of my reel on it and it came off. emoAngry Can't win when you keep loosing them. We really needed to cull the three pounder. We caught most of our fish on deep grass edges in about 10 feet. A couple a little more shallow. The night was nice and cool. The full moon made it appear we had a street light over our heads. emoToast Can't beat that. All in all a very nice night to fish, had some good ones willing to play and got second with a little change to take the better half out to dinner. emoDance Jmax

Congrats to Ronnie and Leonard on the win and Earl with Dink Dink on third. emoApplause
