I have 2 Mercury outboards that I want to swap. One is a 2010 OptiMax 150. The other is a 1983 Mercury 150.

They weigh between 400-450 lbs each. I have a motor lift, but I need that magical Lifting Eye attachment that screws onto the top of the flywheel bolt.

Does anybody have one of those I could borrow for a day or two? I'd be glad to put down a security deposit.

I live in Saratoga Springs and work in Provo, so anybody in Utah County that could lend me one would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to swap the motors tonight if possible, so please let me know ASAP if you have the part available for me to borrow.

I believe they will use 2 different lifting eyes for those years of engines, I would google it for both engines, to make sure and find the part #of the tool. i don't think they are very much.
