So, after seeing pics of a night where we slayed them in June one night, my friend Mike's girlfriend's daughter really wanted to catch a catfish, and we really wanted to get her into one from shore fishing, but the shore fishing has been pretty much "no bueno" since about July 1st for most people as the kitties for the most part have been hanging out in 4 feet or deeper ever since.
So, we attempted for the third time last night to get her into her first catfish, so out to U.L. we went. Fishing was very slow (as expected) but mission was accomplished:
