Skipjack are here at the chick dam. Went fly fishing in the evening and saw plenty of skipjack. Most were in the middle of the river where the current was, but there was decent splashing within cast range, particularily when the water flow was turned on a little more. I finally caught my first skipjack. Hopefully I can have a cooler next time so I can harvest some as bait.
