I fished the Chick near Dayton yesterday. Started at 9:30 a.m. ET and finished about 3 p.m. ET<br /><br />Fished some mats North of Dayton with a frog.<br />After catching one 4 lb (est) I pretty much stayed in the same general area for the next couple of hours. Had 7 or 8 blowups, but nothing as big as the one I caught. No other fish hooked up. <br /><br />The mats were not only on the move, due to current, but were breaking up while I watched. You could hear the bluegills popping and snapping most of the time I was there.<br /><br />Ran into another fisherman who said he and his son had a good day but only caught one on a frog. He showed me a pix of his son&#39;s 8 lbr. Guess I should have been more flexible.<br /><br />regards, richg99
