Has anybody heard of Pineview picking up any?? I want to take my 5 year old up there monday for his first ice fishing adventure.

Havn't heard anything good about pineview, stopped by Echo on the way back from Rockport today and slayed the perch there with the kida and grand kids. Thought you might like to know.

Hello Teroy, as you are driving from the dam, go past the marina about half way to the south beach area there is a couple of spots plowed out on the left side of the road for parking. There is access across the road through the fence, go down the small hill onto the old rail road grade. If you turn left and walk along that grade about 100 yrds. there is a gradule slope down to the lake, if you turn toward the lake too soon its pretty steep. Look for the 4-wheeler tracks and follow them nnw onto the lake. look for an area where someone has shovled out about a 10 x 10 area, we fished probably 100 ft. west of there. Swedish pimple with a finkie dropper, wax worm or perch parts. have a great day and maybe someday i'll see you there.

Hey Teroy , I went to Pineview to check it out for ya . Ice is about 12" thick in the Narrows , with about 4 to 6" of powder on it . Harper is doing some earth moving in that area . Access is rough to get to ice . Fished it for about 3 hours tonight and had no hits . Seen fish on the finder but no bites I could detect . Talk to another guy that was fishing in that area and he said he was getting bites when he got there but no hook ups . I think you would do better somewhere else . I only fished the eveing bite which was nota . You will be bill for this . LOL
Also , Did I see your ride on my way home tonight ? I seen a BFT sticker in the rear on a ford going to the airport .
