As others have posted, there is no one taking money at the Port ramp launch. Things are shut down, but you can drive in and launch.
I thought I would go up and run my new boat one more time before buttoning up for the season. Went up yesterday and ran the boat and fished for awhile with no luck.
Maybe others have reported this, but just wanted to inform that although you can launch, they have removed the access to the docks. I was able to launch and park my boat on the shore just to the left of the ramp. The shore is gravel/sand so no problem. Just have a long enough rope to tie onto something on shore.
I was alone, but just parked the boat on shore, drove my rig back up to the parking lot, and walked back down and pushed off. There wasn't any wind until the afternoon, so I was lucky.
Just a side note. That ramp is the roughest cobblestone pavement that I have ever encountered, but I guess it is good for traction! He He.
