Hello everyone I'm new to the Idaho after moving here from Iowa in July, I'm finally getting some down town and would like to start fishing more but don't know of many places worth a hoot for bass fishing around the Caldwell / Emmett area. I grew up fishing the Mississippi River and dirty water so the clear water is a big change in addition to not knowing any good bodies of for bank fishing (until next fall when I get my boat out this way). Any leads are appreciated! I don't keep anything just wanna have some fun catching lg and sm mouth bass! Thank you!

Welcome to the site jtlucas. I don't live in Idaho but my son does. He has had success for LM bass in lake lowell and it is close to where you live, it is just outside Nampa.

Welcome to the board. I'd take a good look at Lake Lowell (LMB and SMB), and also anywhere on the snake river (moslty SMB, but LMB are possible).
