<b><&quot; }}^ >< Ice Fishing Tip #35</b><br><br><br><B>Amended</B> (Credited to Flagmanonice, Thank You!)<br> <br>This one is for you “High Teckies” with your new fangled sonar devices. <br><br>Finding the bottom of the lake can be quite bothersome, it is difficult to locate your wanted position even with fish finders when you have to drill a hole and clean the hole just to get a reading. You are not really much better than a man with a led clip on the end of his line.<br><br>Well there is a short cut for those sonar users and that is you only need to drill or chip a hole an inch or two deep just enough to make a puddle when adding a cup of water from your minnow bucket. <B> In many cases just adding water to the top of the ice is enough to do the job. (Experiment with your equipment)</B> <br><br>Your sonar will read a solid patch then clear with the possibility of some fish then the bottom of the lake. <br><P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by Davetclown on 03/11/02 09:25 PM.</EM></FONT></P>
