The faster you drift due to wind speeds the more weight you need.

If you can't keep a 4 ounce weight straight down then deploy a drift sock.

Fish right now are holding around 30 to 60 feet in the deeper water areas.

Also tip of the day....use your old cast net weights as sliding egg weights on carolina rigs (aprox. 1 ounce)

There is no need for a bead on the Carolina rig as there is no knot to damage with the sliding weight.
