Once again another one of those days that just makes using light Crappie jigs a tough Task. When you have a north wind combined with strong current, and trying to use 1/32 or 1/16 oz. jigs it can get a little frustrating. "BUT", when you get in the right area it makes all of the hard work worth while. It was really hard to stay where the fish were and even harder to present our jigs to the fish, but when we did get them down to the depth the fish were staying we got bit, and that made all of our effort in these areas a little more fun. The water is up and we have some strong current but all of this should get back to normal in the next couple of days. But even with these conditions the fish are still hitting. Get out and have fun.
