Anyone ever fish for Kokes through the ice? Would they be by the dam?

Catching kokes threw the ice is tough. I'm speaking of ice fishing for kokes in general not at Island park(IP) but fishing over deeper water is usually what I like to do, if that is by the dam at IP, then give it a try. When fishing for kokes, here are a few things I do to increase my odds. Fish bottle neck spots, where the lake narrows, start out from shore at least 20 to 30 yds in water that is 20 ft deep or deeper. Set up as many fishing rods as is legal in your area and run them at least 20 to 30 yds apart, I usually run mine in a straight line, until I locate the fish. If you have already fished an area and know where the fish hang out, setting up several rods in one area is a good way to catch your limit, when they come through. Of course have a fish finder will really help you locate the kokes but kokes rarely stay in one spot for long but if they do come through getting as many rod in the water in that location will increase your odds of catching your limit, even after they are gone because the chances are, they will come by that spot again. Hope that helps and let us know if you have any luck.
