Fished the CCC tournament today. We didn't have a chance to do any pre fishing so we just went with our gut. We went to a blow down with, not a lot of limbs but lots of jigs on it in about 20 FOW. First cast..... a 12 incher... second cast...nothing.. any ways. We had five keepers by around 8:30. The fish just quit biting. Around 9:00 we decided to go looking for another spot. The wind made our choices limited. We went to a dock in about 15 FOW and picked up around eight more keepers and they quit biting there. We decided to go back to the blow down and see if they were biting again and we picked up two more. We weighed in 7 fish with a weight of, I think it was 7.24. Tina will probably put the weights in the post in the tournaments and trails section. Not quite good enough for the win but "A good respectable finish". The water temp was in the low 50's. I was using BG Key lime pie and Outlaw special. Key lime was better of the two today. Not sure what brian was using. Some jig with a chartruse tail. We didn't take any pictures. Sorry!!!
