My father in law was telling me that there's a parasite infestation at Chesterfield. Can anyone speak to this? Is it anything new or anything to worry about?

The parasites have been in the reservoir for years. It is also in Deep creek as well. Others will chime in, but as long as the fish are cooked there is no transmition to humans.

I Hit Chesterfield on Saturday. Fishing was Ok, but it was alarming to see the smaller size of fish that were on the bite. Average was between 10"-14" max. The water is super low and that might be part of the reason. Good day to be on the ice either way though.
