In case anyone is wondering, there is no ice on Ririe Reservoir.

Thanks,
I was wondering.

There is four inches of ice now with a little bit of snow on top. Fished for a couple of hours this afternoon. Landed some small koks.

The reports I'm getting have the smallest kokes seen in years. They look like Mackay kokes. [Image: sad.gif]

Depends on where you fish and what school shows up.

While still small the Mackay Kokes are bigger than I've seen them in years...about 11."

That is about max size in Mackay. It's all about the amount of food that can grow in that environment.

Any news from today? Ice?

Ice was OK. It was very busy up there with four-wheelers and side by sides all over the ice. It was only 4.5"-5" thick where I was half way between juniper boat ramp and the private docks. Only caught 2 kokes and 1 trout. The bite came in good in spurts but just couldn't get the fish to commit. Pink was the ticket with fire corn.

Thanks for the info. Was either going to hit Ririe or Mud Lake. Something close.
