Well 3" of solid ice, lots of small perch as always...in fact I think they're smaller than last couple of years. Wish they would plant a bunch more tiger trout then not allow their harvest for at least two years. Oh well, have some good bait for my favorite montana lakes in the spring. Son still had a good time [Smile]

Your wish is already granted, at least the stocking part.

Spoke with a Fins and feathers two weeks ago at Henry's and we actually discussed them possibly putting a release order for the Tiger trout for a undetermined time period.

Tight lines and clear ice,

Enjoy them when they get a little bigger. LB for LB they are the best fighting trout I've ever caught. Theres a trophy lake close to where I moved here in UT and tying into a 20in tiger is a good time. Only fish I would like to catch more than them is big brooks. Since they are sterile they do grow pretty quick too. Wait till you see some colored up "males".

Thanks for the information.

The article stated the Utah record was 7 pounds 9 oz. from Boulder Mountain. The real Utah state record is 19 pounds 2 oz. in 2013 from Scofield Reservoir, big difference.

Tiger trout are a great sport fish.[Smile]
