Anyone know anything the ice on Deer Creek?

Drove by today and there was a couple of groups out on the north end by the river.

Don't know how thick the ice is.

Is ice forming near the dam yet?

I drove by yesterday and there isn't any ice by the damn yet. There was a little ice formed in the Wallsburg arm and Charleston Bay is iced over, but that is all I could see.

That's amazing. It was 7 degrees this morning at my house in West Bountiful. HOW is that lake not at least capped?

With the reservoir being 75% full already it will take a little longer to chill off the deeper water.

I checked out the Main Marina today. There is a six foot wall of snow pushed up at the top of the ramp. Three fishermen on the point and one along the shore north of the ramp. No Ice insight! Wallsburg bay is frozen out about 200 yards from the inlet. The North parking lot by the bridge is plowed. One fisherman fishing the river. One tent on the ice. six vehicles in the parking lot. To get on the ice people had to walk south along the willows to avoid open water. Be careful!

The rest of the lake is open water. Look on Udot's cameras of Provo Canyon. The camera by the dam shows a section of DC.

Maybe I'll go down to Utah Lake for some whit bass. As a rule I don't keep fish. Just like to catch them.

Drove by today and the ice has made it to the north side of the island and heads on a northerly direction. People were fishing down about a mile from the inlet on all sides.
