what did you find?

We found perch about 30' out from the cement at Cove Arm ranging from 7" to 11" & came home with 13 fish. Missed a number of fish.

How thick was the ice

4"s Clear ice, however with each hole I drilled it fractured. Don't know what that means cause I have never noticed that before.

Not a problem. It just means the ice is growing in thickness! The same as when you have those massive pressure cracks run right under your feet. Unnerving but generally not a problem unless you get an upheaval!
