Got a late start today, I should have been there earlier. Met quite a few people leaving as I was going down the boat ramp they all said fishing had been good for bows and some small perch. As luck would have it over the next two hours neither my son or I could get a bite. Tried lots of different lures and depths, no luck for us. I guess that's how fishing goes .

Too bad you didnt get any. How was the ice? How deep were you fishing? Thinking about getting out again soon.

Ice was good 6 inches, Tried fishing in 10ft, 21ft, 28ft and 32ft also tried fishing just a few feet under the ice looking for cruising bows. I shall return soon.

Sounds like you covered most of the water column.

It almost looked like there was some kind of tourny going on today. I have never seen so many people on Echo! Fishing was quite slow. Three 12 to 14 inch rainbows, is all we ended up with. I think I will set my sights elsewhere next trip. I was told to catch some trout, or I would have gone to Pineview. The trout, what few we marked were right under the ice.

Really? I was there today and the only groups I saw were right in front of the main entrance. The rest of the lake was unoccupied. I had the whole dam area plus the adjacent shorelines all to myself, except for one guy who was just leaving..Didn't feel crowded at all.

I fished there last weekend in 26 Dow and catch fish off the bottom and a few feet under the ice!
