Made a quick trip down to Deer Creek for the afternoon.

Ice was maybe four inches over thirty three feet of water.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the report. I think that 4 inches of ice still might make me pucker! Nice walleye!

Two Thumbs up on the Walleye and the Brown.

Nice to see a walleye and a brown come out of DC. Good job. Thanks for the report. Did you find any perch at all? They seem to be a bit deeper than 30 in the past but still curious.

No perch for me.

There were people out fishing deeper than I and they kept moving every half hour or so. So I doubt that they found them either.

This was all north of the island so I couldn't what was going on further west.

Where was the 4" ice? I was hoping the north end would be thicker.

I was about where the lake turns and heads west on the north side of the island.

I had walked off of on of the older sheets of ice by about a hundred yards. It was open water a couple of weeks ago.

I would bet up by the inlet that the ice would be a bit thicker.
