How far north can you catch lake trout in flaming gorge? We will be staying in green river and looking to fish the gorge

I know when BFT put on the first Burbot Bash at Lost Dog, one member caught a 10 lb laker at that location but I'm sure you could also catch them at Firehole as well.

Ive seen 10 pounders caught near the base of Fontenelle dam, so they run the whole river at times.

Like Jim says, I have caught many lakers below the dam at Fontenelle I also caught plenty a couple weeks ago in 12 feet of water up the blacks fork When the water is this temp they go everywhere.
