I have not been bass fishing since Nov. last year. I thought it was about time to go wet a hook and see what I could find. I was torn between bass or crappie. Decided to bass fish first and crappie fish second. Water temp was 45 when I got there and 49 when I left. Not a lot to really report. It was tough on the bass but ended up with a decent day. I junked fish my way into a decent limit. Boated 10 bass but I lost a couple others and missed a couple others too. Best one today was 5 pounds and 10 ounces. The baits today were a jig, a trap and a spinner bait. I tried a couple other baits with no luck. I did in the last hour hit one of my winter crappie holes and they were stacked there. Had some really heavy big crappie schooled up that were willing to hit. Boated about 30 crappie with only two that did not measure. The biggest were two right at 14 inches. The females are really starting to show with their eggs. All were caught on Bobby Garland crappie assassins in green. All were released to fight again another day. Considering how long it had been since being on the water I was pretty pleased with today.

Saw Stratos G, Rsimms, and Drumking where all out on the water today also. Must have been old man day. emoGeezer
