Wanting to try Echo for the first time tomorrow. Where's the best place to park and access the ice? Thanks for the help.

I've always parked at the top of the marina road and walked down.

please be prepared echo access sucks with a capital S . you can pretty much only park on the road and scale down the rocks or try and hike throught the private boat club good luck.

I use to park on the truck turn out, off the freeway. It's not too bad of a hike down the ridge, and you pretty much have that whole side to yourself. But if you are taking kids and women not used to semi steep trails, go to the boat ramp. Avoid hiking down through the rocks near the dam, on the far side of the freeway, if you have inexperienced people with you. That would be an accident waiting to happen.
