My trolling motor ( Motorguide 54 )all of a sudden lost power and completely stopped. Almost trashed it but decided to open it up and good thing too cause i fixed it!.
The armature was really dirty, got it cleaned up and even replaced the old cables.I'm running the boat end of video, 2 people and a solo run..motor feels like new,serious power now[

Used soap and water then some degreaser, i had one part left over after i put it back together,it's like a metal bracket that went on the inside of the housing,running good so far without it.
