[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800000]Great day on the ice for 2 of us, not so good for some others. I took home 30 perch and my buddy took home 36 along with 4 nice trout. Talked to a couple others that did well on trout and a few perch. We were due west of the boat launch in 45 (him) & 50 (me) FOW. His hot lure/bait was a red blood worm (on a red jig head) tipped with perch eye.[/#800000][/font]

[font "Comic Sans MS"][#800000]My jaw jacker set at 10 feet for trout went off several times but I couldn't get to it up fast enough to set the hook. Went to a mister jigger and still couldn’t get to it fast enough. Oh well. Perch are better eating anyway. [][/#800000][/font]

I went out Sat. with our group and we also did well, getting about 75 perch and 8 nicer 'bows...we put in just beyond the ramp out in 50' of water, then the group came out to my spot at 56' after I started doing well out there a little farther...the 'bows were a little bigger further out...wax worms caught the first donor perch, then eyeballs, cut sushi, and butterworms all worked for the perch...butterworms or powerbait worked on the trout, esp. on a whitish glow rat finkee...great day, little kids catching fish, can't beat that...
