Fished the Chattanooga Crappie Club tournament. <br /> Started the day shooting a couple of docks. No bites. So we decided to try a spot in deeper water. After about 20 or so casts with no bites, thinking about where to go next. The line got tight so I set the hook. One keeper in the livewell. We decided to stay. We caught 3 more and they quit biting. We gave it about 25 more casts and we moved to another spot. Picked up 3 more to get our tournament limit, the keepers quit and the throwbacks started. We tried a few other spots and no more keepers. Total weight was 6 pounds and I forgot the ounces. I do remember our big fish weight. It was 1.53 lbs. The big fish winning weight was 1.59 lbs. Maybe next time........... As always......We still had fun!!! <br /> All 7 fish were caught in about 20 FOW on the bottom using Bobby Garland outlaw special, 1/16, #2 hook. Water temp was 46. Give or take a degree or two.
